This is not your average Chardonnay. Our most gnarly of Zinfandels is specially selected from our World War II era vineyard blocks. 2003 Petite Sirah - Deep & Dark
Price: $24.50/Bottlespacer$264.60/Case of 12 Bottles
Deep, blackish purple in color, this intense sun-blocker is full of dusty, teeth-staining tannins, boysenberries and blueberries with black pepper and cinnamon spices. Normally we blend all of our Petite into our other wines or sell it to well-known wineries for use in their powerful Zinfandel blends, but this powerhouse was too good to sacrifice! Mostly 2002, but with more than 5% 2004 blended in to brighten the berry flavors. Petite Sirah has become Lodi's next great grape. 352 cases bottled 1/27/05.

2004 Merlot - Seductive
Price: $14.85/BottlespacerLimited Cases
We figured the world doesn’t need another limp, light-bodied, airhead Merlot. Our style is ruby red and sensuously smooth with a svelte medium body. She wears a hint of bell pepper, cherry and cedar perfume as a temptation to imbibe layers of jammy orange-strawberry with cedary bittersweet chocolate coffee on a spunky young tannin frame. 206 cases bottled 8/2/05.

Jessie's Grove Book
Price: $47.50
The years 1852-1952 were a period of time unique in history, both for complexities of change and extreme contrasts. What were these early years like in the San Joaquin Valley - the heart of California? Working only with horse power, how did the farmers in the Lodi-Stockton area produce the largest wheat crop in the world? How did a woman provide three large meals a day and do the family wash with no power source but the wood in her stove and her own energy? Through the detailed records, photographs and collections of one family who lived those years in Lodi, you can witness the changes made in their lives as they went from wheat to grapes, and from horse power to gasoline engines and electricity. Read these pages and imagine what it was like to live those dramatic years in the San Joaquin Valley!
